Welcome to my blog...

As we make our way through life, we are confronted with many interests and concerns. Some of these relate to the profession we have chosen, and some to the hobbies and interests we have. Now, during my retirement, I have the luxury to share some of my concerns and interests with you. Agreement with what I have to say is not important. What is important is willingness to share ideas, concerns, and joys. Read what I have to say and let me know what you think. I prefer this to be a dialogue not a monologue. Happy reading…and thinking.
Notice, I have added a new section: Podcasts! It’s still under development, but I do have some podcasts posted. Check it our and let me know what you think,
“If we are serious about the humanization of politics; if we wish to prevent a demagogue from using anxiety and apathy, then we – as teachers and students – must not be silent. […] We must speak and write.” Franz Neumann (1957)
